So many amusing things near Hindman Lake, just incredible. Hindman Lake is pretty arid regularly; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Salmon River, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail.
Summertime at Hindman Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hindman Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. Hindman Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. There's so much to do here at Hindman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Elk Mountain RV Resort is a fine place for that, and Cabin Creek Peak is simple to spot from Hindman Lake. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. You'll come across a pretty lake called Knapp Lakes near Hindman Lake; if you're here you can take a hike along the Bull Moose Trail. Lakes are such serene places, why not explore Valley Creek Lake next to Hindman Lake, and if you came to camp Salmon River Campground is a nice location to do that.
