Ride Description:
This Weekday Afterwork ride will be a tour of the foothills behind Boise. We will meet at Hawkin's Pac Out at the bottom of Bogus Basin rd., and depart at 6:00. The plan is to head up to Bogus and hit the ridge road. Route is flexible depending on riders and time, but should be no more than 50 miles and a couple of hours. It will be a good opportunity for newer riders and those who are thinking of joining the club to get accquainted. If anyone wants a bit more of a challenge we can hit Eagleson (275E) and drop down the backside into Robie Creek.

Ride Description:
This should be a pretty casual, easy ride. Level 2, though I can't guarantee there's no level 3. We'll leave Beacon Light Chevron at 9:00AM and head up 55 to Banks. Left turn up the hill to Pinehurst Church. Then north on dirt to the High Valley Guard Station. We'll head a bit more north and cross 55 at Smiths Ferry and go over to Boiling Springs. Then drop down to Silver Creek Plunge. 4 Challenge sites just like that. Then down to Crouch. If we're there in time for a late lunch we can do that, but bring something along just in case.

Ride Description:
Hello Riders
My buddy Joey and I are going to ride the Idaho Backcountry Development Route (IDBR) from South to North starting just North of Nevada and terminating at the Canadian border starting on September 1 and terminating around Sept 12. For those not familiar with this scheme it has been developed for most of the Western states with the object of leading riders through scenic small backcountry town and old ghost towns to help support remote communities. It is almosty entirely unpaved and dual track.

Ok I'm feeling much better and itching to get out on the bike before the weather gets too nasty. Meet at Beacon Light Rd Chevron in Eagle at 7am, earlier if you need coffee and such. We will ride up Highway 55 to McCall just to get the day rolling. Fuel in McCall, grab lunch from Albertsons(Old Pauls) and head out Warren Wagon road to Burgdorf for a soak in the hot springs if there is time ($8, bring cash), maybe eat lunch here too.
